2022 Nutcracker Audition Information

From Chamberlain Ballet’s 2021 Nutcracker production

OPEN NUTCRACKER AUDITIONS

NUTCRACKER AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD AT CHAMBERLAIN SCHOOL OF BALLET

Auditions are on September 17 and 18.

Open auditions for children’s roles in Chamberlain Ballet’s The Nutcracker 2022

Ages for auditions: 6 and up

Please note: children must be 6 or older by November 1, 2022 to audition for the cast.

Rehearsals will be held weekends during October and November, and at the Eisemann Center Tuesday, November 22 and Wednesday, November 23

Details on dates and times depend on roles cast

Performances will be Friday, November 25, Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27 at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas

Mandatory Parent Meeting - Must Attend in order to Register for Auditions

There will be a Mandatory parent meeting on Thursday, September 8 at 6:00pm and Tuesday, September 13 at 7:00pm. One parent or guardian must attend one of the meetings for your child to audition.

Parent meetings for Nutcracker auditions will be held at:

First Baptist Plano

3665 W President George Bush Highway

Plano, 75075

Your child needs to attend one of the two audition dates:

Saturday - September 17, 2022

Sunday - September 18, 2022

Ages 6 - 9 will audition from 2:00 - 2:45pm, check in at 1:30pm

Ages 10 - 12 will audition from 3:00 - 4:30pm, check in at 2:30pm

Ages 13+ will audition from 4:30 - 6:00pm, check in at 4:00pm

Please arrive 30 mins before your scheduled time to allow for check in, measurements, and warm up!

Casting for the performance will be announced no later than Friday, September 23

Registration for Auditions will be sent following attendance at the Parent Meeting in September
