The NUTCRACKER

It is mandatory for a parent of a child wishing to audition for Chamberlain Ballet’s The Nutcracker to attend one of the following

parent meetings at Liberty Recreation Center:

2601 Glencliff Dr, Plano, TX 75075

Monday, August 26th at 6:30pm

OR

Tuesday, September 3rd at 7:00pm

(Location for second meeting subject to change)

Auditions will be held at:

Chamberlain School of Ballet

 3003 W. 15th St. in Plano, TX 75075

Saturday - September 7th, 2024       

OR       

Sunday - September 8th, 2024

Ages 6 - 8: audition from 1:00pm - 2:00pm

(check-in at 12:30pm)

Ages 9 - 11: audition from 2:15pm - 3:45pm

(check-in at 1:45pm)

Ages 12+: audition from 4:00pm - 5:30pm

(check-in at 3:30pm)

Boys: audition from 5:30pm - 6:30pm

(check-in at 5:00pm)

(Please choose audition based on your child’s age as of November 1st, 2024. Children need to be 6 years old by November 1st, 2024 to audition for the cast.)

Tuesday - September 10th, 2024

Advanced Roles

13+ - Advanced Dancers: audition 6:15pm - 9:45pm, check-in at 5:45pm

(3+ years of pointe work required)

The Nutcracker Participation Fee:

You can pay fees below or on the pre-registration form through a QR code or through the link in your form submission confirmation.

It is preferred to pay participation fees at the time of registration using the QR code or links, but fees must be paid by the time of child's audition. (For those dancers auditioning for Company also, pay The Nutcracker Participation fees & it will be applied to the dancer's company dues if accepted into the Company.)

Rehearsals will be held weekends during September, October and November, and at the Eisemann Center Tuesday, November 26th and Wednesday, November 27th

Details on dates and times depend on roles cast

Performances will be Friday, November 29th @ 2pm & 7pm, Saturday, November 30 @ 2pm & 7pm, and Sunday, December 1st @ 2pm at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas
