Founded by Kathy Chamberlain in 1984, Chamberlain Ballet is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization based in Plano, TX. Chamberlain Ballet focuses on improving lives through dance and ballet productions, training, and outreach. Through dance training and outreach programs such as Relevé and Shining Stars; Chamberlain Ballet is committed to building artists through Classical Foundations for Life®.

Founded in 1984, Chamberlain Ballet is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Plano, TX. Originally intended to provide performance opportunities to local area students, Chamberlain Ballet has grown into an organization which furthers the impact of ballet and the performing arts through training and education, performance, and outreach.
Donor and sponsor support allows Chamberlain Ballet to stage full scale theatrical productions for the public, provide world class instruction to our students, and educate and expose the arts to underprivileged and underserved members of our community.

How do i take classes?
Chamberlain School of Ballet is the official training academy of Chamberlain Ballet. Chamberlain Ballet routinely has master class options available throughout the season. Our performing company is audition based entry. While we offer open auditions before every season, we also allow individual auditions throughout the season. Please contact us for more information.
How can i get involved?
There are many ways to get involved with Chamberlain Ballet. We are always looking for dancers to audition or volunteers to help keep the ship going. Any contribution to helping further our community’s experience in the arts is greatly appreciated. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we often partner with other organizations in the community to help better the lives of underserved individuals. how do i find tickets to see a performance?
Chamberlain Ballet is proud to stage several productions each season. For our 2019-20 35th anniversary season, we will be staging The Nutcracker, Peter and the Wolf, and our spring 35th Anniversary Celebration. As tickets become available, we will be posting links to purchase through appropriate vendors or the performing venue itself.
How do i find out about your alumni?
Chamberlain Ballet is eternally proud of the success of our vast alumni base. We are proud to have current and former professional dancers, musicians, artists, actors, singers, and just plain lovers of art in all its forms. Our alumni have even founded their own arts organizations, such as Parisa Khobdeh Dance Company. how do i find out more about your outreach efforts?
Our outreach efforts are multifold. We offer a free Community Connections benefit performance to underserved, service, and special needs organizations before our major productions such as The Nutcracker. We also offer free dance classes through our Relevé and Shining Stars dance programs. Additionally, we are proud to offer students scholarships to study dance both at home and at elite dance schools and programs throughout the country. how do i audition for nutcracker?
Auditions for children’s roles are open to the public. Auditions take place September 14th. We will be posting more information soon. If you are a dancer interested in performing alongside our corps de ballet, we do allow guest artists and additional community dancers to join us for various roles.
